The Station
Every trade on Satellite feeds the Station. Once a day its crew share is split between everyone who holds $SATELLITE, claimed here. Staking is access: cheaper launches, a bigger dev share and cashback on the fees you paid.
Staking $SATELLITE: access, not income
Staking pays nothing by itself. Your active stake is your tier, and the tier unlocks:
| TIER | ACTIVE STAKE | LAUNCH FEE | DEV SHARE ON YOUR COINS | CASHBACK ON FEES YOU PAID |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| None | under 1M | 0.05 SOL | 30% | — |
| Tier 1 | 1M $SATELLITE | −25% | +2% (32%) | 10% |
| Tier 2 | 5M $SATELLITE | −50% | +5% (35%) | 25% |
| Tier 3 | 20M $SATELLITE | free | +5% (35%) | 50% |
- The extra dev share comes out of the Station share, never out of the planet burn.
- Registering a new planet locks a bond of your stake until none of its satellites is still on its curve. The admin can burn the bond if the planet is disabled for price manipulation.
- A deposit counts after a 24 h warm-up. Unstaking takes 7 days and drops your tier at once.
- An optional 30 or 90 day lock only stops you from unstaking earlier; it does not change your tier. Staked $SATELLITE still counts for the crew share.
Where the Station's funds go
The Station share of every trade fee and the 0.05 SOL launch fee go to the Station wallet. Its keeper sells the planet tokens, keeps 5% as SOL for keeper gas and buys $SATELLITE on the market (refused when the price is more than 5% off the on-chain median). Each funding is split on chain:
Crew shares, cashback and bonuses are merkle distributions: the program stores each root, the full tree is public, a guardian can veto a wrong one during its first 6 hours, then claims stay open for 30 days. Unclaimed cashback and bonuses go back to their reserve; an unclaimed crew share is burned after 30 days. Nothing is burned inside the Station itself.
